In the studio

For the last couple of days I’ve been working on an alteration project. I have a client who is getting married and wanted part of the train of her dress cut off and made into a vest and bow-tie for her fiance.



The first step was to remove beading and take the hem of the dress apart in preparation for cutting it. Doing hand work is very soothing, and reminded me of this movie.
